During the 2010-11 school year Jonathan P. Smith, a graduate student in the Yale School of Public Health, took my Documentary Film Workshop where he made the documentary They Go to Die.  Jonathan recently received the Tuberculosis Survival Prize for the film in Lille, France.  Yale News responded with a news item, “Recent Graduate’s Film Project Gar­ners Global Health Award.”

When I was giving a presentation at the 8th Seminar on the Origins and History of Cinema in Girona, Spain in March 2011, I was interviewed by Daniel Pitarch who later published it in Cahiers du Cinema: España as “Viejo cine, nuevos medios: Entrevista Charles Musser” in issue no 47, July-August 2011.
