During the 2010-11 school year Jonathan P. Smith, a graduate student in the Yale School of Public Health, took my Documentary Film Workshop where he made the documentary They Go to Die. Jonathan recently received the Tuberculosis Survival Prize for the film in Lille, France. Yale News responded with a news item, “Recent Graduate’s Film Project Garners Global Health Award.”
